 This is the first film for Sivajiganeshan and also super hit film in the year 50's, it runs more than 200 days, The dialog  of this film which was written by  Kalaynjar Kaunanethy is a remarkable one for this film.

The story is based on the life of three brothers  who settle down in Burma during the Second World War. The youngest, Gunasekaran, gets the opportunity to visit India for the marriage of their younger sister Kalyani  but due to intense Japanese bombardment of Burmese ports the situation goes worse....
