A museum on former Chief Minister M G Ramachandran was declared open by PWD Minister Durai Murugan at his memorial in Chennai recently. State Minister Parithi Ilamvazhuthi said that the museum was constructed at a cost of Rs 38.50 lakh. Articles used by the MGR and rare photographs of the late leader were on display at the museum. Former Minister R M Veerappan, former MP S. Jagathrakshegan, and AVM Saravanan thanked the Government for opening the museum. Fans of MGR are thronging the museum in large numbers every day.
